Meet Jeff & support dog, Teddy

WHY I DO THIS WORK

I work with men and dads because I know how easy it is to carry responsibility quietly, to look capable on the outside while inside you’re running hot. Pressure builds. Standards slip. You get more reactive than you want to be. And at some point you realise: something has to change.

Over the past 6+ years I’ve supported over 100 clients and families through difficult seasons, and I’ve seen the same pattern again and again: most men don’t need more information, they need space to think clearly, speak honestly, and make better decisions without being judged or “fixed”.

My approach is trauma-informed and relationally led, which means I pay attention to what sits underneath performance: stress patterns, triggers, old stories, and the way pressure shows up in your body and relationships. But the work stays future-focused. It’s about clarity, leadership and decisive action, not labels.

That’s why I do this. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe men deserve a calm, confidential space where they can drop the armour, tell the truth, and move forward with purpose.

What makes me different

I’m a male practitioner in a female-dominated space.
That matters. A lot of men don’t want to be analysed, labelled, or handled with kid gloves. They want straight talking, respect, and a space where they can be honest without feeling judged. I bring lived experience of pressure, responsibility and the realities of being a man and a dad.

I specialise - I don’t try to be for everyone.
I focus my work on men and dads who want to lead with clarity and perform under pressure. That specialism means you’re not getting generic advice, you’re getting a process built for the patterns men actually get stuck in: overthinking, reactivity, avoidance, inconsistency, and carrying it all alone.

My approach is trauma-informed and relationally led.
Not in a clinical, crisis-driven way but in a practical way. I pay attention to what’s underneath behaviour: stress responses, triggers, old stories, and nervous system patterns. When you understand what’s driving the reaction, you can change it and keep the change.

It’s grounded in real people, not theory.
Over 6+ years, I’ve worked with 100+ families and individuals. The tools I use are built from what actually works in real conversations with real lives not what sounds good on paper.

You get coaching that’s both human and practical.
This isn’t motivational hype. It’s structured, evidence-informed work that helps you think clearly, make better decisions, and follow through - with calm accountability and no fluff.

Local, discreet, and flexible including outdoors.

I’m based in Tavistock and Saltash, work online across the UK, and offer walk-and-talk sessions in the West Dartmoor area for men who think better with space and movement.

When Hard Work Pays Off

"Hello Jeff, amazing session today! Hard work, but enlightening for sure. Thank you for going above and beyond for me. I am so grateful."

Meet Teddy

This is Teddy, my support dog (he's a bit of an introvert, but he tries his best!). He's here to help create a calm, comfortable space during your sessions. If you're a dog lover and think his presence would help you feel more at ease, just let me know - I'd be happy to have him join us.

MY APPROACH

I work with a trauma-informed, integrative coaching approach that’s relationally led and firmly future-focused. That means I pay attention to what sits underneath performance - stress patterns, triggers, habits and identity - while keeping the work practical and action-based. We look at mind, body and behaviour together so change isn’t just insight in a session, it’s something you can live.

Relational & Straight-Talking

Performance Coaching & Accountability

Relational & Straight-Talking

I build a working relationship that’s calm, honest and purposeful. No performance, no judgement, just clear conversation that gets to the point. You’ll be heard properly, challenged when it matters, and supported to follow through on what you say you want.

Trauma Informed

Performance Coaching & Accountability

Relational & Straight-Talking

Being trauma-informed isn’t about digging for a diagnosis, it’s understanding how pressure, past experience and stress responses shape behaviour in the present. When you know what flips you into reactivity, avoidance or overthinking, you can stay steadier, make better decisions, and lead with more control.

Practical Tools (Mind & Body)

Performance Coaching & Accountability

Performance Coaching & Accountability

High performance isn’t just mindset, it’s nervous system, habits, environment and recovery. I use simple, evidence-informed tools that work in real life: regulation strategies, communication shifts, decision frameworks and routines you can actually stick to. The goal is progress you can feel between sessions, not just insight in the moment.

This is coaching for men who want momentum. We get clear on what matters, set a direction, and turn it into consistent action. You’ll leave sessions with next steps, and you’ll have accountability that’s supportive but firm, the kind that raises your standard over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at hello@jeffdawson.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Once you contact me, we’ll arrange a free 30-minute discovery call (phone or online). It’s relaxed, confidential and gives you space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. I’ll ask a few focused questions to understand what you want to change and what 'better' looks like. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll book your first full session and agree a clear plan for how we’ll work together.

Sessions are £75 per hour. Payment is required in advance to secure your booking. I also offer coaching packages for clients who want more structure and momentum - just ask and I’ll send the current options.

Sessions are available in Tavistock (private, purpose-built room on the outskirts of town), online across the UK, and with limited availability in Saltash. The Tavistock space has toilet facilities and can be made accessible with advance notice. I also offer walk-and-talk sessions in the West Dartmoor area.

I work with men and dads who want clearer decisions, steadier leadership and better performance under pressure. My focus is coaching for growth and momentum, delivered in-person (Tavistock/Saltash), outdoors (West Dartmoor) or online.

It depends on what you want to change. Some clients come for a short, focused block to reset and make key decisions; others prefer longer-term support to build consistency and maintain momentum. We’ll agree a structure that fits your goals and review it regularly.

Confidentiality is central to my work. Sessions are held in a private setting (in-person, outdoors, or online) and I follow professional and legal standards to protect your privacy. I won’t share anything you tell me without your consent, unless I’m legally required to do so.

Yes. I offer online sessions across the UK, providing the same quality of support as in-person sessions. This gives you flexibility and accessibility, whether you're in Devon, Cornwall, or anywhere else in the UK.

That’s exactly what the free 30-minute discovery call is for. We’ll talk through what’s going on, what you want to change, and whether my approach is the right fit. No pressure - just a straightforward conversation to help you decide.
